Welcome to HCHS!
- It is with great joy in the spirit of Mercy that we, at Holy Child High School welcome all of you for the Launching of the 45th Founding Anniversary of the school on September 22, 2009 and our 2nd Grand Alumni Homecoming slated to be on Thursday, January 21, 2010.
With joyful gratitude to our Lord, our Blessed Mother and the Holy Child Jesus for all the graces they have bestowed on us, we celebrate the 45th year of the Holy Child High School through the people who have kept the school alive as we rejoice with hope, deeply aware of a lot of struggles, pains trials and frustrations that have been experienced, yet, it helps us refresh our dreams as we set out once more on the journey that is ours as one academic community.
Thank you for your love that sustained the spirit and legacy of this institution to pass on from generation to generation through the years. May the Spirit of Joy, Love and Trust in the Lord keep you together in the Heart of Jesus and Mary.
We, therefore, invite you to come and celebrate with us for friendship and share and reminisce memories of the time you spent as a Holy Child High School student. This much anticipated affair will provide us the opportunity to strengthen bonds and rekindle in our hearts the happy memories as you meet again old acquaintances, past and present administrators, mentors and classmates for one day of reunions, reception, recognition and other activities.
Please join us as we wrap up another fabulous homecoming that surely you wouldn't want to miss. We are genuinely excited to seeing you soon!
Very truly yours,
SISTER CECILLE MARIE L. LIM, RSM
Directress/Principal
Greetings from your Alma Mater!
The HCHS Founder
It was in 1964 when the idea of putting up a Catholic school came to my mind. It was a dream of mine to provide quality education to the youth of Villaba. With the grace of God and the generosity of many people headed by Hon. Aurelio Veloso and the Most Reverend Manuel Salvador, Holy Child Catholic School came to reality. Forty-five years after, HCHS stands as a testament to the generosity of spirit, dedication and the sense of service of all Villabanons.
I would like to repeat my 2002 message during the last HCHS Grand Reunion - in the words of Christ – “Remain in union with ME and I will remain in you.” and “Without ME you can do nothing.” In these words depend our harvest of peace, joy and prosperity.
It is with great pleasure that I send my message of greetings to all of you coupled with my heartfelt prayers for the success and happiness of every HCHS alumnus. I pray for all HCHS alumni to be always united with the Holy Child Jesus for more blessings and graces.
VIVA SR. STO. NIÑO JESUS!!!
